I believe that a successful event requires unique and personalized attention to every detail. I pride myself in staying savvy about the hottest trends in the industry and approaching each project in a fresh new way….but don't let that fool you, I'm a traditionalist at heart. I deeply treasure customs, traditions and old world etiquette that add significance to a special event. It's a play between the traditional and contemporary that really drives my passion!
I am a proud graduate of the University of South Florida and member of the Tampa Bay community where I live with my husband DJ and son Luca. My professional experience began planning events while working at the University of South Florida and was soon followed with several years in the hotel, catering and wedding industry. My experience in both social and corporate event coordinating has given me the opportunity to form relationships with the area's premier vendors. I now energetically bring my experience, vendor relationships and love of the business to EVENT DESIGN.
I feel blessed to be celebrating a decade of event planning in the West Coast Florida area and beyond.

This is the man you will find hard at work on your event date! His day starts much earlier than mine and without him we could never turn these blank canvases into the extraordinary, gorgeous backdrops they become!
DJ heads up our decor and rentals division, meeting with clients, managing our set up/delivery crew and maintaining our inventory. I can say assuredly that everything is kept top notch. He brings a unique perspective creatively and has a great ability to envision a decor plan that will truly maximize your space.

Lindsay Brandenburg
Coordinator
Lindsay joined the Event Design team in 2009. Since then, she has welcomed every client and role with open arms! She comes to us with the perfect blend of experience working both weddings and events in her home state of Kentucky as well as here in Tampa. She is a proud graduate of University of Kentucky, where she obtained a degree in Hospitality Management and minor in Business. She is a huge UK basketball fan!! (but miraculously you can still catch her by text or email during halftime - Don't tell her we said so!) Lindsay is a fabulous addition to the Event Design family and shows incredible drive and determination in delivering first class service to our clients and the vendors we work with. With Lindsay, you are in good hands...and you will just love her southern charm! |
